A few Testimonials since May 2010
“Dear Nick &
Mo, Breakfast is our favourite meal of the day and yours is one of the best ever
! and served with such class. Bedroom and sitting room so comfortable, light and
spacious – a great blend of country and modern. You guys tick all the boxes.
Cosy fire, great bathroom, expansive views and with just enough TV in our room
not to ruin the tranquillity. All topped off with real people for hosts. So
accommodating … and the croissants … oh my goodness!!” Matt & Leanne,
Clarence Gardens
We say – good on yer for those comments and
congratulations on the birth of baby in June and give our regards to the cat.
“The bed was cosy and we had the best sleep in years –
everything was wonderful, your hospitality superb and the breakfast
mouth-watering. We will remember here for a long time and come back when we are
in the Hills. Thanks Nick and Mo – you certainly made an impression.”
Wendy and Andrew, Horsham Vic
We say – oh dear - we hope we made
a good impression then !
“Thanks for providing us with a
space for us all to catch up – we couldn’t have asked for anything better and it
has been a fabulous weekend full of great friends, food and fun – I loved it and
thank you for making us feel so welcome and for the great cooking!”
Cheryl, Cathie, Sandra and Kym, Gawler, Kanmantoo, St Morris and Melbourne
We say – we enjoyed having you to stay – thanks also for leaving your
cheese in the room fridge – we did eat it! ”We will replace it for you when you
return!”
“Thank you very much Nick & Mo. Absolutely
enjoyed our stay here – everything was wonderful. Breakfast was lovely and
definitely better than my mum’s cooking – great start to my birthday and hope to
be back some day. Will definitely recommend this place to all our friends.”
Eileen & Wee Long, Singapore
We say – …and you saw us at our
worst – lambing time brings with it mud, rain, high winds and sheep poo so we
apologise for that. We hope that the photo’s you took of the lambs came out OK.
Please send your mum here for cooking lessons.
“Beautiful setting, great hospitality and we loved the walk to the old stone
ruin and rusty Holden Ute ! Will recommend to all our friends.” Mark &
Sharron, West Beach SA
We say – the old stone ruin is an
original settler’s cottage – German in origin. The Holden Ute is going back into
the ground! We are glad you appreciated the setting.
